Potential Health Care Overhaul on the Horizon

The Canadian Medical Association is calling for a reform of the current health care system. In a report released Tuesday, the Association states the current system will not meet the needs of Canada’s aging population.
Canada is one of the world’s highest spending nations when it comes to health care yet the report states citizens are not receiving the care they should based on steep price they pay.
“The founding principles of medicare are not being met today either in letter or in spirit,” the report states. “Canadians are not receiving the value they deserve from the health care system.” The report states.
