Stacey Dombrowsky Psychotherapist, Producer & Host of Mind Matters on Rogers TV

Stacey Dombrowsky is a registered Psychotherapist, addictions counselor, spiritual transformation coach, and producer and host of "Mind Matters". "Mind Matters" allows her to reach beyond the bounds of her private practice, and touch the lives of those in the community. This forum has given Stacey the platform to address concerns of those suffering with mental illness, as well as host an array of respected professionals and celebrities including bestselling authors and reality TV hosts, Julie Daniluk and Bryce Wylde, and ex-NHL star turned sportscaster, Jim McKenny.

When she is not reaching out to her fans and followers on Twitter and Facebook, Stacey writes a popular blog that focuses on topics covered on her show as well as important messages that she wishes to pass on to her audience. She is also currently working on her first book, a project close to her heart. While focusing on body image, sexuality, and addiction, it tells the story of her personal and inspiring experience with overcoming addiction while providing readers with an enlightened and realizable approach to recovery.

In addition to being a television host and author, she is a community-centered philanthropist. In 2011, Stacey and a group of dedicated health professionals successfully raise $500,000 in an effort to raise awareness for the Markham Stouffville Child and Adolescent Mental Health Hospital. Stacey is also an active fundraiser for Eating Disorders of York Region program, a charitable organization that offers free support for men and women suffering from the disease.

Stacey believes that love, acceptance, hope and faith are key components needed in recovery. These components along with self-esteem are central to her approach to therapy. Stacey Dombrowsky is an interactive, solution-focused therapist. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.

Stacey is the founder of LovenLife Psychotherapy where she currently serves as a private practitioner, specializing in addiction and eating disorders, as well as catering to a broad spectrum of clients. She provides individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in the Markham area.

As an Addictions Counselor Stacey studied at Ontario's McMasters University (CCACCF). Stacey also studied at Transformational Arts College, graduating with honors as a Certified Psychotherapist and Spiritual Director. She is also a member of the Canadian Professional's Counselors Association (CPCA), and Registered in Human Relations (RIHR).
